The new top entry in my UX enemies list is:
Phone Number field that requires only numbers but WILL accept non-numbers and will also not strip them and is also limited to 10 characters.
Meaning, if I paste 202-555-1212, the field records 202-555-12
So I made a new field in a spreadsheet with this formula
=(A1,SUBSTITUTE(“-“,””))
so I can copy and paste numbers I never type and don't have memories into a form field created by morons.
