Here is why I have faith in humanity. I have a free little library in front of my house. I live in NE DC, which is somewhat diverse, at least compared to the burbs. The sheer variety of people that stop and look through the library and take something is amazing. Old, young, black, white, cyclists, luxury car owners, city workers, contractors, little kids. People like books.
And the worst mistreatment it’s ever been given is the door being left open.
