Currently stuck: Rails 8 removed sprockets, my book uses a customized version of Tachyons for CSS, because it's extremely simple and required just SASS and that's it. I know most devs are using Tailwind. But GOD DAMN is the setup for it horrible. A slow build step, complex NPM-tastic toolchain.
I want to maintain Sustainable Rails as long as I can, and including Tailwind feels like it makes the job harder.
