I realize security is risk management and these are all tradeoffs, and people would likely not make the right tradeoffs if given the choice. But FFS this is all just a nightmare. I thank god every day crypto turned out to be a scam that no one wanted, because their vision of locking your finances behind un unrecoverable password would've erased so much wealth from normal people.
